Use the tool only on files and computers you are authorized to manage.
Free Application and Component Notices
Free EXE Lock is free to download and use. The release includes software and third-party component notices; those notices govern the relevant components. Do not remove applicable copyright or license notices when redistribution is permitted. Free access does not grant rights to unrelated third-party software.
Manage Access Responsibly
Lock only suitable EXEs you are authorized to control. Keep the management password and current recovery records, and unlock files before updating or uninstalling. The program changes Windows permissions and cannot make an administrator, another account or another copy subject to its lock.
No Promise of Universal Compatibility
Not every executable or permission configuration is supported. Product descriptions do not promise that a file can never be bypassed, that a backup can reset a forgotten password, or that antivirus/reputation services will never flag the release. Maintain appropriate backups and follow the app’s validation messages.
Optional Research Has Separate Terms
RelevantKnowledge participation is optional and governed by its own invitation, agreement and privacy policy. You may decline and still install the free application. If accepted, the separate program has a separate uninstall entry.
